Virtual personal assistant
Siri, GoogleNow, and Cortana are intelligent digital personal assistants on various channels (iOS, Android, and WindowsMobile). When you request with your voice, they will help you find helpful information.
For example, you can say, “Where is the nearest restaurant?”, “What is my schedule today?”, “Remind me at eight o’clock.” “Call Jerry”, the helper will search for information, rebroadcast it on the phone or send instructions to other applications.
Artificial intelligence is critical in these applications because they collect information on the request and use it to recognize better your words and provide results that adapt to your preferences.
Microsoft states that Cortana “knows its users constantly” and will eventually develop to “guess” user needs. Virtual personal assistants process data from various sources to understand users and assist them in organizing and tracking the information more effectively.
