Hi, I am working on a project where I am trying to tweak the convolution process to quickly down-sample high resolution images without massive data loss (by avoiding pooling, high dilation, and strides. For example, 2x2 maxpool, or stride=2, dilation=2 means you're simply discarding 75% of the data).
