Just start out in machine learning and I came across an awesome project called OpenBot that allows hobbyists to make self driving cars at about $50 using your phone as the processing unit. I was able to build my own bot at home (https://vm.tiktok.com/ZSeU16rbE/) but my model does not perform as well at their demo (https://www.openbot.org). For example it stop when it get comes across an obstacle instead of avoiding it. The details of the project have been outlines in the OpenBot website and if anybody has worked on the same project I'd really like to hear about your experience.
