anomaly detection in time series data

Hi All! What could be some approaches while dealing with anomaly detection in time series data? Im looking at the data that doesn’t show seasonality as much, it’s the sudden changes compared to previous data points that need to be identified as anomalies. Please suggest methods that i could use. Simple stats, sophisticated models any help is greatly appreciated!
