[Research] The Intersection Drone Dataset (inD) – A novel dataset measured at intersections for development and safety validation of automated driving

Follow the full discussion on Reddit.
Data collection is fundamental for the development of automated driving. Drones can help to overcome the limitations of established traffic data collections methods like e.g. occlusions. That’s how fka GmbH and the Institute for Automotive Engineering (ika) have developed the inD dataset. It is a new dataset of naturalistic road user trajectories recorded at German intersections, including all road users such as e.g. vehicle, pedestrian and bicyclist.
