About the Role

Grammarly is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer specializing in NLP to join their Trust & Enterprise Intelligence team. This role involves working with cutting-edge ML and NLP technologies to solve complex problems and create AI-powered products tailored for enterprise clients. You'll collaborate with Engineers, Data Scientists, Product Managers, and Linguists to build AI products that improve communication across organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy large-scale ML and NLP models to improve enterprise customer communication.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Computational Linguists, Engineers, and Data Scientists.
  • Apply LLM-based technologies to product solutions and evaluate their performance.
  • Work closely with product teams to ensure that solutions scale and meet business objectives.
  • Communicate complex ML concepts effectively to diverse audiences within the organization.
  • Innovate and contribute to the product roadmap while solving technical challenges at scale.
  • Stay up-to-date with ML/NLP research and apply insights to new products and features.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in traditional machine learning algorithms and state-of-the-art techniques such as deep learning.
  • Strong understanding of modern NLP algorithms and approaches.
  • Experience building LLM-based products and evaluating Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Comfortable with reading and applying academic papers.
  • Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms for working with large datasets.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with an ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
