Team Introduction

The team is responsible for developing and optimizing recommendation algorithms for video creation tools worldwide, including CapCut, Jianying, and Hypic. The focus is on enhancing content distribution efficiency and driving user growth across all platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize Core Recommendation Algorithms: Enhance the recommendation strategies for video creation tools globally, including CapCut and Hypic.
  • Enhance User Growth Efficiency: Improve the distribution of content created with CapCut, Hypic, and similar tools to boost user growth.
  • Improve User Experience: Utilize a deep understanding of user behavior and state-of-the-art machine learning technologies to refine user experiences during content creation.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong coding skills with a solid foundation in data structures and algorithms.
  • Strong theoretical knowledge and practical experience in machine learning.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling challenging problems.
  • Familiarity with one or more areas in machine learning, computer vision, natural language processing, or data mining.
  • Preferred: Practical ability demonstrated by publications in top academic conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, etc.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary:

  • The base salary range for this position in San Jose, CA is 194,000−194,000 - 355,000 annually.
  • Compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, experience, and location.
  • Eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units (RSUs).
