Improving PULSE diversity in the iterative setting

Follow the full discussion on Reddit.
Inspired by a lot of the recent concerns about PULSE (the super-resolution algorithm) and diversity, /u/sashasheng and I worked on a couple of simple tweaks that we thought were worth sharing. They improve diversity on many axes (age, gender, etc.) but fail on racial diversity. We would love feedback, thoughts, and just generally to spark a discussion (and maybe we could even steal some ideas that come up ;) - the original idea came from /u/GhostOfAebeAmraen ).
