Decent ml/dl projects in image?

We are three juniors pursuing our bachelors in CSE, and we have to come up with an ML/DL project as part of our curriculum. All three of us happen to be beginners but can't afford to make something very simple like a neural style net. Could y'all suggest a localized field in image processing that we could look into and possibly whip up a decent project? We have about 3 months to learn and build. Thank you
