Consumers usually ask questions about products during online shopping, compare similar products, or make orders based on their preferences or past consumption records. According to a recent survey, American smartphone owners use their speakers for e-commerce activities. These activities include creating shopping lists or to-dos and making purchases through voice-based commands. Several major fashion retailers, including Burberry, Victoria’s Secret, Sephora, Estée Lauder, and Tommy Hilfiger, have adopted interactive chatbots like in-store salespeople to communicate with customers. These chatbots can ask customers about their preferences, and provide appropriate suggestions for their fashion needs, and provide complete support for the full dataset of frequently asked questions.
